First Zone Conference

Last week Jacey told me her Sofie necklace broke, and my heart broke for her. Yes, she needs to learn to rely on her Savior for strength and comfort, but she also knows that her friend on the other side of the veil is pulling for her and is a strength to her. That necklace represents more than just a piece of jewelry. I told her I would have another one made.

Here is where the tender mercies started happening.

I reached out to Jacey's old Miamaid leader who owns the company that made the original necklace, and told her what happened. I resent the pictures of Sofie's handwriting, and ordered a new one and a bracelet so Jacey could have a choice, (and a backup). Lindsey called me the very next day and told me it was ready to be picked up. WHAT? That was so fast, and she wouldn't let me pay for the full price I owed her. Then I called a sister in my ward that has a son serving in Peru, and asked her which delivery service she likes to use. I called that company, and was told that if I could get my package to her the next day, she would deliver it on Monday. AGAIN, what is the likelihood of the timing to work out like this? AND THEN THIS: The mission president and his wife were going to a Zone Conference the next weekend. I am hoping, hoping, hoping the necklace was delivered to her this week. I keep looking at this picture and trying to see some evidence that she received her package. I won't know until next week, but I do know that a loving Heavenly Father cares very much for this sweet missionary enough to move heaven and earth to get her that necklace. Because I know He is in the very details of her life, I know he is very much aware of just how much my daughter desires to do what he wants her to do even when it is stretching her further than she has ever been stretched before, and He is trying to remind her that He is there. What a beautiful life lesson. If we were able to see every detail, what would we be seeing?

Here is the email I sent to her last Wednesday.
Miracles Happen - You have a package leaving Salt Lake on Monday for Peru!!!

Sweetheart!  Your Heavenly Father is VERY aware of you. You told me on Wednesday your Sofie necklace broke. I had a new one in my hands on THURSDAY! I contacted Shelly to see what courier service she uses, and found out the service has a delivery scheduled for Monday. I handed off your package TODAY. My beautiful daughter, never doubt the love He has for you. You may be feeling alone and scared, but He is there for you. He is very much working miracles and moving heaven and earth, because YOU MATTER TO HIM!!  Hahah, Sofie probably had a hand in it too!! ❤❤❤

Much love,
Mom
