First Day in the Field

I am sorry last week my email was pretty short and not super postive. This has been really really hard for me.

So, I spent the week in the Peru CCM and now I am starting my work in the field. My first area is ICA and my companion doesnt speak english so thats super awesome.

I dont have a lot of time so this email will also be kind of short. Sorry.

The highlight of the Peru CCM was that I got to meet Elder Renland. He came and just shook our hands and thats all. I told him I was from Layton and he asked if I was a Lancer. So an apostle of the lord knows my mascot. hahah.

Here are some things I am grateful for....

1. An Hermana in Mexico, Remington Jacobs. I am grateful for Rem because I struggled and she helped me see I wasnt alone and helped me to know that I can be strong and do hard things.

2. My cute ccm companion who dealt with me very patiently and was always kind and loving.

3. My wonderful family who I miss everyday.

4. All of my two districts!!

5. The gospel... This is hard but I am doing it because the gospel is true and I know that and I am here to share what I know.

6. My angel Sofie.

I am grateful for this opportunity to serve a mission even though it is very difficult and I am struggling a lot. Thank you for all the prayers and support.

LOVE HERMANA JACEY PETERSEN
