She's Headed to Lima, Peru
I love my daughter, but I am seriously going to have to teach her a little about how not to freak her mother out.
Here is what Jacey said in her text to me around 6:00 Wednesday night:
Hi mom! This is Jacey! This is Sister Stapleys phone. She is in the MTC presidency. I was just texting to let you know that I am leaving the MTC early on Monday. Love you!❤️
I might have burst into tears, and said out loud to the universe, "WHAT!!! She's NOT ready! This was also after her email to me earlier in the day that said she wanted me to send her new clothes, and that she still wasn't eating and was homesick for America.
Here’s what her companion's text to her mother said:
Hey Mom and Dad, this is Brittany. I'm using Sister Stapley's phone, she's in the CCM presidency. I just got notified that I will be leaving on Monday for Peru. My flight is at 8:15AM, flight number AM 46,(Aeromexico) confirmation number MGKNHL. I don't know how much of that you need to know, but just wanted to let you know. Hermana Petersen & I are the only ones from our district leaving early, plus others from other districts. I'm freaking out but I know it's where I'm supposed to be and when. I love you all. Wish me luck.❤️
Notice how Hermana Lowe's text was 3 times as long, with much more needed information. After much anxiety and fine tuned mother stalking skills, I found out that Jacey and her companion are heading to the MTC in Lima for the last week before heading to the field. I am working on trusting the Lord more, but I might have freaked out for a few hours before I was able to think rationally and calm myself down. I actually feel so much more at ease now that I know the whole story.❤️
