Week #6 - Meeting the Mission President and his Wife

Dear Petersen Family,

Sister Richey and I thank you for trusting us with your daughter.  We are thankful that she is serving in the best mission in the world.  We know that missionaries are called by revelation and that your daughter is where the Lord wants her to be at this time in her life.  In 3 John 1:4 we read, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”  We testify that your daughter’s service will bring joy to you all and bless the lives of thousands.  We love your daughter and we will do our best to take care of her.

Hello Cute Family!
I miss you and love you a lot! I am currently in the mission home! We met our president and his wife! Hermana Richey has a Facebook group you can join if you’re not already a part of it. Peru Lima South Latter-day Saints Missionary Families. It’s all a lot of change and everythings happening so I don’t feel awesome, but I am sure I will get the hang of it and feel happier, and more comfortable. I will have a ton more information for you in my next email. There’s just a bunch of unknowns right now. Honestly, I am really scared, and overwhelmed and just all the emotions. I still feel similar as when I talked with you, but I’m sure I will feel better. This is a big new adventure that is just crazy. I am living in Peru, What? I love you guys so much, and you mean the world to me! I pray for you all 24/7 and you are in my thoughts continually. Keep praying for me! Ha, I need all the help I can get! I love, love, love you more than Café Rio, and miss you more than anything.
