Week 46 - Last Week In Lima South

HOLLLLAAAAAA!!!! 

So, I officially have a week left in Peru Lima South which is kind of weird but it is official official!!!! LIMA TAMBO HERE I COME!!!! I am excited!!

This week was really good. Today we went to Las lomas which is a hike which is just really long and really steep but it was good and worth it to see sun for the first time in months. I think I even got a little sunburn!!! WORTH IT!!!! We also went with our mission president and a bunch of other missionaries so I was able to see a bunch of pals and my old companion. It was so fun!!!!! 

This week we were meeting with a new investigator and he seemed really interested and then ended up not coming to church so we were confused. A lot of people tell us that they will come and don't come but this guy seemed really interested. So we passed by his house later that night and he told us that he didn't go because he had to go to the hospital with his son. So it was a pretty good reason. Then he told us flat out that he wanted to be baptized and he wanted to be a member and wanted help to do it. We were so happy and honestly it was an answer to our prayers. We are finding a lot of people to teach here which we are happy about but very few seem to really be interested and actually progress. So we were working really hard to find someone who could truly understand the importance of this gospel and have desire to keep going and make covenants with our Heavenly Father. Our heavenly Father truly listens and answers our prayers. He also is very aware of us. 

Fun story that my mom wont like..... when we were with this man he stepped out pretty close to me and kind of had a weird feeling. I wasn't sure if it was because he was pretty close or that two men were passing the same time. When we were getting ready to leave our investigator stops and tells us that the two men passing were KNOWN ROBBERS and to be careful. But he also told us he would come with us to every lesson and wait outside if we wanted to go to a dangerous area. We didn't really have the heart to tell him we walk all day everyday and every part of our area is a little dangerous. Whoops!!! I am glad there are good people in the world!! 

I know this church is true and I am grateful that I get to serve. I am grateful to have a loving Heavenly Father who loves us and knows us and understands us and has a perfect plan for each and every person. HOW AMAZING!!!!!!!
