Week 45

This week was really, really good!!!! WE HAD 3 BAPTISMS!!!!! Sheila, Ruth, and Maite!! They are sisters and they are so cute! They also have an uncle that gave the reference and he was the only member in his family before now. He got up and shared his testimony about how happy he was that they got baptized. It was truly something amazing and I couldn’t help but think that that is how all the ancestors and family feel in heaven as well when someone gets baptized. That there are so many angels cheering and having a little party when someone makes covenants with God.

Not much else happened this week so I am sorry this is really short.

News..... I will be in the Lima Tambo mission NOT the Lima South mission starting July 1st so that’s is something new. It will be really exciting and definitely a good story for down the road. hahah But yeah. I only have a few more weeks in this mission so we are visiting a whole bunch of places that we won’t be able to go to in a few weeks.

I am so grateful for the things I am learning here. I say it all the time, but I know that I am different. I like to think that I am not changing and I won’t be weird when I get home, but I am sure I will be. This church is real cool, and I am glad I get to share this message to the people here. Even if I don’t speak the language perfectly or men listen or catcall in the roads. I love my Savior and I love these people. Peru sometimes is a little weird, Not going to lie, But these people sure are something special!!!!
