Week 59

SO.... today is the first day of Spring here in Lima, and I am not too happy to tell you all that the sun still has not decided to come out. Apparently spring here in Lima is actually just a continued Winter! 

Anyways..... another shout out to my cute companion up at Utah State and all of my friends she is running into!!! Love and miss you all and hope you are all doing great!!! See you in a few months!!! 

This week was good!! Honestly there is not a lot to report on so this will be a short email.... like most of the emails I send home.... SORRY

There is an hermana in our zone that fell on a hike and can't proselyte so my companion and I went and did divisions with her companion.. We were visiting some of their investigators and while we were talking to one guy we asked him if he was going to come to church. He then started telling us he had plans, or that he didn't know. As we were talking to him, he mentioned a lot of different little things. The other hermana then said, this is going to sound blunt but if we are making excuses there will always be thousands. He stopped and thought about that and said that it was true. All the reasons really were just excuses and that this next Sunday he will try and be there!!

It is really true!! It is easy to make excuses for anything that is going on, but if we just try and do something then we can receive and recognize the blessings. I know there are so many blessings just waiting for us to be obedient or do something so that we can receive them. God WANTS to helps us and he WANTS to bless us!!

I am so grateful for a PERFECT Father in Heaven who loves us and wants the best for us, and will push us so that we can grow and become even better! I am grateful for this very PERFECT gospel and the opportunity to be here in Peru to share this very PERFECT message!!
