Week 56

This week was a lot better than last week so I will write you all an email!! I am sorry I didn’t get around to writing one the last week!!!

So I am actually currently in a new area, but just in the same zone.... Basically I just crossed the street from my old area! I can still wave to all my cute friends in the old ward. So that’s kind of fun!! I am also opening the area so I feel 100 percent lost 100 percent of the time, but poco a poco i guess!!!

My new companion is from Mexico!!!! Everyone thinks she is Peruvian though because she has lost her accent, but it’s fun!! I am learning a lot from her!!

This last week we saw lots of miracles and I am so, so glad! Some weeks are hard and last week I was feeling a little down honestly, but this week I was able to see the hand of the lord in my life and in the lives of others!!! We have two people now preparing to be baptized and we had 8 people come to church!!!! We are visiting a family and last week they couldn’t come to church but they told us that they were VERY committed in coming this last Sunday. We visited them the day before and they were still planning on it!! When this family of 5 walked into the chapel I felt so happy and I couldn’t help remembering going to church with my family. I know that I just chatted with my dad through the last 15 or more minutes every Sunday and my mom always gave me dirty looks or told me to be quiet but I still am very grateful. I am grateful for my family and I miss them a lot because I am kind of far away!! This gospel is all about families and I am grateful that I can be with mine forever!!!

I know that this church is true and I know that Christ lives and loves us so very, very, very much!!!
Thank you all so very much for your love and support always!

Hermana Jacey Petersen

We do not have warm water and someone told us we shouldn’t shower in our shower right now without the heater. So I am currently washing my hair and showering in my garbage can..... Don’t worry I cleaned it first!!!!
