Week 57

So I may be the only one that counts the months like I do BUT..... as of Saturday I offically have been here 13 months!!!

Also.... Happy Birthday Taylor!!! I hope you have a great day over there in Ireland!!

Anyways, This week was really good! On Friday the elders from my old area called and invited me to the baptism of someone I had started teaching. I know technically she isn't my convert, but I am very grateful for the opportunity to have gone to her baptism. Her dad got up and shared his testimony and said that one day he was thinking about how much the gospel had blessed his life, and he thought if the gospel had blessed his life why not the life of his daughter. He said he walked out of his house that day and saw me and my companion walking down the street. He stopped us and gave us the reference of his daughter, and we had an appointment two days later. I learned a lot teaching his daughter and listening to his testimony Friday night. He has a good point. If this gospel has blessed my life why not the life of my family, or my friends, or my neighbor, or the stranger in the street. THIS GOSPEL IS FOR EVERYONE. Also I know that this is truly the work of the Lord! I am glad my companion and I were in the right place at the right time to find someone that the Lord was preparing. Her dad kept joking that it was our fault that his daughter was getting baptized. I am just glad, if something is my fault here, it is someone making a convenant with our Heavenly Father.

This work really is incredible and I know it is led by a very perfect Father in Heaven. I know this church is true and I am so grateful for all the things I am learning here!!
